CRUISE-MATE ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES
It only takes a few seconds to set Cruise-Mate for operation.

CAUTION; PERFORM ALL ADJUSTMENTS WITH ENGINE OFF. ADJUSTING CRUISE-MATE WITH ENGINE RUNNING COULD CAUSE SERIOUS DAMAGE TO ENGINE IF THROTTLE STICKS WIDE OPEN WITH ENGINE RUNNING.

Cruise-Mate won't hold throttle open when set.

1. Move Cruise-Mate handle towards front of bike approximately 1/4 turn.

    a. Grips with worn or very loose throttle tubes may require more than 1/4 turn to hold throttle.

2. Pull down on handle to disengage spring loaded male and female spline inside handle.

3. Rotate handle toward rear of bike one tooth at a time and release (spline inside handle is graduated in 15 degree increments and you should feel it reengage).

4. Repeat steps 1 thru 3 until Cruise-Mate holds throttle in position with approximately 1/4 turn.

 Throttle does not operate freely with Cruise-Mate off.

1. With Cruise-Mate off (handle toward rear of bike) pull down on handle to disengage spring loaded male and female spline inside handle.

2. Rotate handle toward front of bike one tooth at a time and release (spline inside handle is graduated in 15 degree increments and you should feel it reengage).

3.Repeat steps 1 and 2 until Cruise-Mate holds throttle in position with approximately 1/4 turn.
